Alas Pilipinas, which topped Pool A with a 4-0 sweep, fell to Kazakhstan in the do-or-die semifinals and was relegated to the battle for bronze against Australia. 🇵🇭🇦🇺
Last week, Alas Pilipinas stunned Australia with a 3-1 victory, sparking a dream run in the tournament. Alas now aims to end the AVC Challenge Cup with another win over the Volleyroos. 🏐
Since their initial matchup, Alas has risen above Australia in the FIVB rankings, marking the first time the Philippines will enter a match as favorites in this tournament. ❤️🔥
